What’s New with SADS
We haven’t touched base with you in a while, so we wanted to re-introduce ourselves. Here at SADS, we make a difference in the lives of those diagnosed with SADS conditions. We educate physicians and health professionals, promote public awareness, and act as a link between researchers and families.
Here’s a few exciting things are happening right now at SADS:
- We’ve launched the new SADS website (welcome!) with a greater focus on providing families with the specific resources and support they need while also equipping medical professionals with important information.
- This year we welcomed Genevie Echols as Family Support Director. Genevie is meeting with families one-on-one to offer individualized support as well as spearheading all of our work to strengthen the support available to SADS families.
- Through billboards, radio PSAs, social media ads, televised stories, and your shares, we reached tens of thousands of people with the life-saving message: “If your kid faints with exercise, talk to their doctor about their heart.”
Help us send you updates you can’t wait to read!
We want to make sure we’re sending you the information you want to hear, whether it’s volunteer information, SADS program updates, or our eNews. We’ve included a brief survey at the bottom where you can let us know about your interests so we can send you exactly what you’re looking for.
