How are you treated? Nadolol x2 daily, flecainide x2 daily
Can you tell us about your SCA?
1st time I was on a fair ride called the zipper. No diagnosis after 1st SCA. 2nd time I was at home in my room. That’s when I found out my condition.
Did you have any warning signs of having a SADS condition before your SCA?
I fainted a few times back in 2014 and 2015. They thought I had seizures.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve faced as a SCA survivor and/or living with your diagnosis?
Not being able to be as active as I used to be.
What is one positive thing that has come out of your SCA/diagnosis? Nothing yet
What encouragement or advice would you give someone who has just survived a SCA or been diagnosed with your condition?
It’ll be fine-just take it easy. Make sure you listen to your doctors. Listen to your body!
What does your day-to-day life look like?
School, chores, hanging out with my friends and family, video games, etc
What are your favorite hobbies and activities?
Watching basketball talking about basketball…everything basketball
