Clinical Research Study for HCM

Clinical Research Study for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM)

There is a clinical research study currently enrolling for non-obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy or (nHCM).

Doctors and researchers are leading this study to learn more about a study drug called mavacamten. This study will compare the effects of taking mavacamten with the effects of taking a placebo (looks like study drug but contains no active ingredients). The study will see if the study treatment can reduce a person’s shortness of breath and fatigue and increase their ability to exercise.

If you are at least 18 years old, have been diagnosed with nHCM and experience symptoms such as shortness of breath or easily tire, you may be eligible to participate.
