Sudden Death Response Plan
When there is a sudden, unexplained death in the news, the SADS Foundation activates the Sudden Death Response Plan, which includes contacting the Medical Examiner, the school or location of the event, the media, and our local physician experts—so that we can educate the community about the warning signs of SADS and help the family get properly screened.
Young Investigator Awards
To encourage the next generation of researchers, the SADS Foundation annually offers its Courts K. Cleveland, Jr. Young Investigator Awards in Cardiac Channelopathy Research.
