Quick Facts
About this study
The geneTIC study – short for “Genetics care that is Trauma-Informed” – is led by Dr. Kelsey Sala-Hamrick at Eastern Michigan University. The team wants to hear directly from parents and caregivers about what genetics care has been like for your family: the parts that helped, the parts that were hard, and what could be done differently. Findings will be used to inform how future genetic counselors and clinicians are trained.
