In loving memory of

Isabella Rose Gonzalez

“From the moment we found out Isabella was conceived we knew she was special.”

Isabella Gonzalez brightened the lives of everyone she met. Her very favorite activity was dancing; she joined her first dance class at three years old.  “When we would come home the first thing she would do is set up her phone for a new TikTok dance,” says Amanda, her mom. “She was always trying to teach her Mama and Papa.”

Besides dancing, Bella loved to volunteer; she loved Christmas; and she loved to do make-up and hair with her friends. Her little sister, Scarlett, was her very best friend.

“We can go on for hours and hours about the joy Bella brought into our lives and anyone who came in contact with her,” says Amanda. “The outpouring of love and support of people she didn’t even know just shows you the beautiful soul she is and will always be. Now she will always be our forever dancing angel.”

Isabella was just 12 years old when she passed away in June 2022.

“She was dancing in the home, and she collapsed,” says Amanda. Her family learned that Isabella had been living with a heart condition – ARVC – that was undiscovered during her life.

Bella’s Butterflies is her family’s organization focused on spreading awareness about conditions like ARVC.

“Bella was amazing … we just don’t want people to go through what we’re going through,” says Juany, Bella’s father.

“If we can save one person, just by pushing the information that we have learned for our daughter, that’s all we want,” says Amanda.

My Daughter Isabella Rose.

Her name alone radiates beauty. In just 12 years, she provided us with love, laughs, memories, strength and knowledge that will carry for generations to come.

Bella was the embodiment of innocence and grace.

From the moment she took her first steps, it was evident that she was special. She danced through life, not just with her feet, but with her whole heart.

The world was her stage, and every moment was a performance of love and passion.

Unfortunately, on June, 23 of 2022 the curtains closed on what was supposed to be her everlasting solo.

Bella had passed away while dancing in the home with family.

Shortly after; we learned Bella was living with ARVC (Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy), a disorder of the muscular wall of the heart. This condition increases the risk of an abnormal heartbeat (arrhythmia) and sudden death which worsens during exercise.

Thus began the encore to last a lifetime.

We started genetic testing within our family. After Many EKG’s, Echocardiogram’s & stress tests we learned her older brother Xavier also had a heart condition called QT prolong.

A heart rhythm disorder that can potentially cause fast, chaotic heartbeats also worsened with exercise.

Without Bella, this would have gone unnoticed until it was potentially too late. Xavier is now on beta blockers and followed by a team of doctors to help maintain his heart condition. Bella saved her brother’s life!

This is just the beginning of what Bella has done since becoming an angel.

At the tender age of 3, Bella began her dance journey. Performing in groups and even having the stage all to herself. Before her passing she was a part of the Motion-N-Dance family and quickly shined her light through the studio.

Today, we keep that light shining with the Bella’s Butterflies Memorial scholarship fund! Raising money in Bella’s name to help provide tuition for children who like her, have a passion for dance.

Last year Bella’s middle school  MBA started an annual winter drive “Bella’s Bundles” accepting donations of warm winter gear such as hats ,gloves, & scarves to bundle together and give to the less fortunate.

The items collected were donated to the woman against abuse shelter. Honoring Bella by giving others a reason to smile and keep faith has truly kept our family going.

Bella’s final and most generous act of giving back was being an organ donor & providing the gift of sight to an educator who because of her; can provide the world with education efficiently & worry free.

Our dancing butterfly is a HERO. A MIRACLE WORKER & an Angel in the most literal sense of the word. She will forever be loved, cherished and HONORED for MANY lifetimes to come.

WE LOVE YOU BELLA!
