Both Dr. Wilde was HRS co-chair and Dr. Behr was a writing group member of the 2020 APHRS/HRS expert consensus statement on the Investigation of decedents with sudden unexplained death and patients with sudden cardiac arrest, and of their families.
- Examine evidence-based practical patient-centered recommendations for evaluating patients with sudden cardiac arrest, decedents of sudden unexplained death, and their families.
- Review the multidisciplinary approach in the evaluation, management and counseling of affected family members if an inherited arrhythmia condition is found, to minimize future events.
