Worldwide Candle Lighting Day
Every second Sunday in December, families and friends around the world take part in Worldwide Candle Lighting Day – a moment to remember and honor those we’ve lost. This year, the remembrance takes place on Sunday, December 14.As this day approaches, we invite you to join us at a new, virtual candle lighting ceremony and support group.
During our time together, members of our support team and staff will guide us through a series of reflections to help us honor those we carry in our hearts.
The ceremony will include:
- Meditations and writing exercises to ground us
- Short readings to bring us together in community
- Lighting candles together – whether physical, drawn or virtual
- Sharing our loved one’s names and memories
We’ll also leave time at the end for questions or additional support.
