I am a 26-year old with a rare heart condition called J-Wave Syndrome. I went into cardiac arrest in 2016 at the age of 18 and received my first ICD at that time. I’ve had many shocks since then but with the help of the Mayo Clinic and Dr. Ackerman I have not had a shock in over two years. I am looking forward to seeing how I can help others.
